Planning your work

Your tasks across all projects, a morning plan and deadline warnings.

Not built yet

Planned for v0.1. This page describes the target experience; commands may not exist yet.

The Planner lives on your desk, the private part of bimai that spans all your projects.

Tasks come in three ways

  1. You type them: "remind me to check the IFC export for Bridge 3 before Thursday."
  2. From meetings: actions assigned to you in a processed transcript.
  3. From tools: for example ACC issues assigned to you.

Tasks for a project are stored in that project, so your team can see what you're working on. Tasks that belong to no project stay on your desk.

Plans

  • Morning plan on workdays: today's plan, overdue items and this week's deadlines.
  • Friday review: what got done, what slipped, what's next.
  • Deadline warnings 48 hours before something is due.

With a calendar connection, the plan uses your real free time; otherwise your working hours.
