Using bimai

Your project site

A private website per project that explains the people, their AI teams, the agreements and current work.

Not built yet

Design stage. This describes how the feature is intended to work and may still change. A working prototype generates the example project on this site. The bimai site commands are planned.

Every bimai project can have its own documentation site, generated from the project's files. It's written for people who don't open VS Code: a new colleague on their first day, a project manager, a director or the client's BIM manager.

What's on it

PageContent
OverviewGoal, phase, next milestones, key links (ACC, Teams, CDE)
PeopleWho holds which position, who covers for whom
AI teamsEach person's agents and how the teams hand work to each other
How we workThe workflows, the coordination rhythm, what needs approval
AgreementsThe BEP agreements with page references, and the BEP itself
DecisionsThe decision log, newest first
MeetingsMinutes of every processed meeting
This weekHighlights from the session journals

Everything is generated from the project's files, so the site is always up to date and nobody has to maintain it. The generator is the project-site pack: plain code, no AI, so the site only ever shows what is in the project files.

Private by default

A project site contains confidential project information, so it's never public by default.

bimai site build # generate and build it
bimai site open # build it and open it on your own computer
bimai site publish # publish it to a private location your organization chose

Publishing options are chosen per organization: for example Azure Static Web Apps behind Microsoft sign-in (so only colleagues with a company account can open it), an internal web server, or a zip file to hand over. See the example: Example project.
